Coucou bijou was made in collaboration with the Claudio Colucci design studio.
To give a new interpretation about a strong swiss symbol : the Coucou Clock'.
For this project, Mathilde Petit started to create and to draw prototypes, then she made Coucou bijou hand in hand with Roland Kawczynski.
In order to build a precise metal lace, they used the CNC machine, a high technology tool which allows a new interpretation, and gives an homage to the traditional swiss paper cutting art : Poya.
This project joins fine jewellery and watch making. The piece descends, starting close to the neck at the beginning of the day, and finishing as a pendant like a cocktail piece.
